| 17-11-09 - Archery will be on as normal this Friday (20th) as the trip to the dogs has been cancelled. The Club Captaincy/Wand Shoot will be held on the Friday 4th December. |
| 19-09-09 - For those interested in the roving marks shoot at Raby on the 1st November here are some details of the event. Arrive about 10.00am for a 10.30am start. Break for lunch about 12 noon. There will be no catering so you will need to bring your own food. The morning will be a novelty clout shoot with a fun medieval roving mark on the afternoon. Entry fee is £10 which includes entry into the castle grounds. Some members may be interested to know that there is an NFAS shoot on the 11th Oct run by Kielder Forresters contact Penny Axon for details on 01661 843 288. |

| 26-04-09 - AOTT members have been been invited to participate in shoots organised by Dunkeld Company of Archers. There are shoots happening on the 31st May, 28th June, 30th August and 27th September (all Sundays). More information and application forms can be found on the DCA website click here to go there. It looks like the shoot at Julie's will be sometime in August. |

| 31-01-09 - AGM The AGM is 7.00 pm on 11th February at Darlington Memorial Hospital Social Club. Food and drink provided. The Social club is accessed from the 3rd gate on the right at the hospital. Anyone attending shouldn't use the main carpark as it is paymachine and there is free parking just near the social club. If you are able to attend please to let us know by the end of next week so David can order enough pizza to go around. |

| 05-12-08 - Archers of the Tees shot their Silver Arrow Club Captaincy round at the Wand this evening, the results are as follows, Junior Captain of the Arrow for the year is Dominic Gay with a score of 14 hits,Ladies Captain of the Arrow for the year is Tracy Herron with a score of 13 hits and the Gents Captain of the Arrow is Tom Parker with a score of 22 hits, a very enjoyable evening with lots of frustrating fun and banter, with Dave Fisher nocking Jon Bell, Tony Nicholson and Peter Harbottle off their pedestal, Doug Lightfoot won the money,and it was good to see two more juniors doing well and taking part, Emma Mc Cartney with 5 hits and William Herron with 3 hits. |
| 10-11-08 - Fred Bates and Tim Hamilton would like to say a very big thank you to Ayumi and Neil Champken for their Introduction and presentation of the art of Kyudo, Japanese Archery ( the way of the bow ) on Saturday the 8th of November 2008, at the Holy Families centre in Prior Street,Darlington. We all learnt a great deal from Ayumi who is decended from a Samurai family, as she talked about the history of the Samurai, the way she was dressed, how to walk, the ceremony and respect for the equipment, Ayumi also demonstrated the correct way of shooting, something she said she had not done in 10 years, hitting the centre of the target every time,it was an excellent afternoon, Archers of the Tees hope to be able to put on more such events in the future, many thanks again to Ayumi and Neil for giving up their time for us,Fred and Tim for Archers of the Tees Other news - please note that the shoot at Commondale is actually the Saturday 29th November. |
